As a first-year, I didn’t have a clue as to what to expect for my first collegiate softball tournament. Obviously I was extremely excited for our week-long trip to Kissimmee, Fla., but on top of that, I was also a little nervous. Fortunately, I had a 22-hour bus drive to look forward to, giving me plenty of time to relax.
My spring break this year with the track team down to Florida will probably be one that I remember the most in the years to come for a number of reasons.
As the Albion College Baseball team headed to Winter Haven, Fla., for our spring baseball trip, we were looking forward to seeing our hard work indoors pay off out of doors. Our goals were to win games, gain experience and prepare for the MIAA league play.
