The 34th annual  Elkin Isaac Research Symposium featured over 70 student research posters and presentations in the science complex on Thursday.

According to Albion College’s website, “For more than three decades, the Elkin R. Isaac Research Symposium has honored excellent student research, scholarship and creative activity. The participants are nominated by their faculty sponsors after having participated in independent research that results in the significant synthesis of new knowledge.”

From 4 – 5 p.m. students presented their research via posters in the science atrium. The opportunity was brought about by the Elkin R. Isaac Endowed Lectureship, created in 1991 by Albion College alumni to honor professor, coach and mentor Elkin R. “Ike” Isaac ‘48.
