Last weekend there were three incidents that required the attention of Campus Safety and Albion Public Safety, two of which were related.
Over email, Ken Snyder indicated that three non-students were involved in the two related incidents. These incidents occurred Friday, Sept. 23, and Saturday, Sept. 24.
“Campus Safety had contact with the non-students both Friday and Saturday and contacted Albion Public Safety both times for assistance in dealing with these individuals. They were barred from college property Friday night and arrested for trespassing when they were found on campus Saturday night,” Snyder said.
On Sunday, Sept. 25, an incident was reported that is believed to have occurred Friday. According to Snyder, a student living in a fraternity house reported that several watches were missing from his room. The three non-students that were barred from campus were in the student’s room, but it is currently unclear if the two incidents are involved.
Albion Public Safety will be further investigating the incidents because they appear to involve non-students.
As of now, there is no evidence linking the two incidents involving the three non-students and that of the theft with the carjacking that occurred on September 15.
