Monday nights in Albion no longer involve just the library. Kati Schwartz, Ann Arbor senior, recently founded a trivia night to be held bi-weekly at Davan’s bar.
“I thought it would be great to support a local business and give my friends a reason to come out on Mondays,” Schwartz said.
Teams of up to eight players compete with a pencil and paper for four rounds. Topics range from topics like sports and games to old school Nickelodeon to music clip identification. Winners of each round as well as overall winners are awarded with prizes.
“Trivia is by far the most fun I’ve had out on the town at Albion,” said Caroline Valenti, Brighton senior. “The answers are hard to remember, especially when cheap beer pitchers are involved, but it’s the best feeling when you get it right.”
Trivia begins at 10 pm and costs 1 dollar to play.
