Looking at compact fluorescent bulbs (CFLs), it becomes clear that they are no ordinary lights. Unlike their old-school incandescent counterparts, they aren’t bulbous, but are instead tubular and sculpted into a swirl.

ASSIST ADPS: A report that a student had parked his vehicle on the train tracks. The car was removed.

SUSPICIOUS SITUATION: A student reported that she heard someone running in the Herrick Center and it was suppose to be empty. Officers did a walkthrough and everything was alright.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A report of someone with a bucket outside Mitchell Towers. Officers did a walkthrough and found no one around but a janitor was seen earlier washing windows.
