Yesterday, on April 8, The Pleiad‘s editor-in-chief recognized four student journalists for contributions to the staff at the Sleight Leadership Dessert.  The Albion College office of campus programs and organizations honored student achievement with funding from the Sleight family, who were in attendance.

The Pleiad‘s editor-in-chief and managing editors are pleased to extend our congratulations to the following staffers for their work during the 2013-14 year:

News Journalist of the Year:  Spencer White, Wixom junior.

Sports Journalist of the Year:  Kurt Miller, Dexter senior.

Features Journalist of the Year:  Emily Miller, Lake Orion first-year.

Best New Staff Member Award:  Kylie Ambu, Brown City first-year.
